Stop using your email list to broadcast your unwanted sales pitches!! ❌
Email marketing is far from dead, despite what some “marketing gurus” are saying.
A well nurtured and managed email list is one of the most valuable assets in your business. Why is that, you may ask? Because email, when done right, is a conversation between you and your audience.
The #1 thing you can do with your email list, regardless of how many people have subscribed, is to create a connection with each person on that list. You do that by starting and having conversations.
When your emails sound like you talking with a real person, they are engaging and memorable.
Your subscribers will look forward to getting your emails, they’ll open them and yes, they will read them! Isn’t that the goal?!?
Each email should feel like part of an ongoing conversation, one that adds value, insights and keeps them engaged - not just informed.
So, ask yourself: Are your emails eagerly awaited? Do they spark engagement and build relationships? Or are they just another sales pitch lost in the digital shuffle?
Do you agree? Let me know in the comments below!
Completely agree. Email marketing can still be useful, but needs to be curated content, engaging, and at most subtly self-promoting as a secondary objective.
